This collections consists of nine photos taken of the ceremony and gathering held in the Reference Room of the Archives on 8/1/84. Dr. Melvin George delivered a small speech on Mr. Havener's association with the Archives and handed him his desk pen set as a memento of the occassion. Also present were President Emeritus Dr. Elmer Ellis, Bessie Hume, Secretary to the President and others.
